Indica Cannabis : The Essential Guide to the World’s Finest Marijuana Strains
Cannabis Indica features genetics from over 60 different seed breeders — more than all other cannabis strain guides put together — and strains from a variety of countries. Featuring classic Indica strains, such as Holland’s Hope, Blueberry, LA Confidential and P-91, Cannabis Indica also introduces fascinating never-before-seen varieties from previously unknown seed breeders. Filled with hundreds of beautiful full-color images, this book is ideal for every grow room, dorm room, and living room. Each plant is discussed in detail, with accurate information on genetics and lineage so that readers can become experts on Cannabis Indica strains — their aromas, flavors, THC content, medical potentials, and growth patterns. Strains were selected based on their relevance to the current market and the strength of their genetics. There are no advertisements in the book and no one paid to be included — editor S.T. Oner carefully selected all strains based on merit, not advertising dollars.
>This book brings together a collection of some of the rarest and finest genetics in the cannabis world today. It focuses on many of the most highly sought after strains like the frosty Grape Stomper, the White, and other connoisseur varieties. I am a huge fan of this book the bud shots make it way worth it. There are some fantastic pictures (see cover shot) from a great list of growers and breeders. This excellent little book serves both as a catalog, and an overview of the strains that are popular and available in the early 2010s. It already acquainted me with the outlandish cold weather growth characteristics of the Mazar-I-Sharif. And the pictures of the Grape Stomper and it’s trichome covered fanleaves and buds are insane.
I would recommend buying this book and future volumes to anyone who is in the weed business, or just wants to grow their own varieties, where it is legal to do so of course. Great compilation of my favorite kind of plant! I like that it covers both classic and newer strain types. And the photos are awesome! I can’t believe I can get it in e-book format, its nice to have a good reference at my fingertips All I need now is a Sativa book. Having read all of the past Cannabis Photo/Strain guides, I’m pretty well versed on the subject, and while those can be entertaining, they are nothing more than a PAID advertisement for Seed Companies that can afford to get their name out there, and not necessarily bvery heavy on FACTS.This book has it all – from the Hobby breeders with amazing strains to the world’s SUPER seed companies – showing the best of the Canadian, Dutch, Spanish, AND Americans – something you WON’T see in other cannabis strain books. Green Candy Press has their information DOWN and I can’t wait for the next volumes to followe! As soon as I can order them I’ll be pre-ordering right away. I found this book to be a great read …very detailed and specific. The pictures are also amazing. If your looking for a book on all indica strains This is the one to get.
I’ve bought almost every book similar to this one and they were almost always the same. I bought the big book of buds and after reading the discriptions of strains ive already looked into, all the info and most pictures were identical to what i read online. That is the only book i’ll out here because its so popular with amatures. Cannabis indica brings so much more to the table, it’s it doesnt push the same old strains we all already know so much about, its helping more than the reader by sharing the info, its helping the lesser known breeders by printing their better strains. Also unlike the bbob, the breeders arent charged to have their info in the book and there are no ads, Ed Rosenthal is making tons of cash from the breeders, company’s that have the ads in his book and us, the readers who spend our money on his book of ads and what is already simple to find online. Sorry to keep ragging on him but i dont care for the money hungry guy.
Cannabis Indica to me is great strains from new and old breeders with great info that was well put together rather than copy and paste, many great photos on practically every page, I love the idea of doing the book on indicas alone so if youre looking for a new strain to grow this is going to help tons and if the next book is half as good as this one then we’re all in for a treat and will have a series worth collecting! I’ve already reccomended this to all my friends and they love it just as much as i do. Much love to everybody involved in this book, i cant thank them enough for introducing me to all of these great new breeders that i otherwise never would have heard of. And I was thrilled to see Sannies Seeds had a couple of strains in it.
